College Crest

A Short History of College.

The college emblem consists of the “The Vina”, “Plant with flowers”, “Lamp”, “moon”. “The Sun and Planet”, “Palm leaf Manuscipt” and the Sanskrit sloka, “Satyameva Jayate”.

The palm leaf manuscript symbolizes ancient heritage as well as stands for bearing and acquiring.

The Vina signifies Godess Saraswati known as Vidya Devi.

Plant with flower stands for natural beauty.

Lamp stands for light which is to be enlighted in life inculcating knowledge and wisdom.

Moon symbolizes calmness, peace and coolness which should be inherited in human beings.

The sun with planets signifies the wonderful universe we live in. At the bottom is written the universal truth in the Sanskrit version. “Satyameva Jayate”.
